In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of installing our LED underglow lights on your vehicle. This guide provides general instructions for installing underglow kits that connect to the car's main battery. While it specifically features our upgraded 6 light strip kit, the guide is also applicable to the standard 4 light strip kits.

Before Installing Your Underglow Kit.

Make sure to open your kit and confirm that you have the full kit before proceeding with the installation. The kit should include:

• 6 LED underglow light strips
• Black control box
• Remote control
• Wire connectors
• Zip ties

In addition to the kit, you'll also need the following:

• Car jack
• Wire strippers
• Cleaning cloth
• Remote control coin battery

To make sure the installation goes smoothly, it's crucial to begin by testing the underglow lights. Follow these steps to test the kit:

Before proceeding, more sure all the components are properly connected. Lay out the strip lights and ensure everything is connected. Next, open the car's bonnet and attach the connection wires securely to the battery. Confirm that the battery in the remote control is inserted correctly. Now, you can proceed to test the kit, by switching it on via the remote and selecting different colours and modes.

Time To Install Your Underglow Lights

Now that you have tested your lighting, you will need to prepare your car for the installation. Firstly, ensure that your car is parked on a flat and even surface. Take some time to get acquainted with the undercarriage of your car and identify appropriate spots for installing the light strips. It is important to make sure the undercarriage is clean and dry. You can use a cloth to wipe away any excess dust or debris if need be.

Now to the installation:

• Using your car jack, lift up the car (ideally you will want to use a trolley jack or jack stands for safety)
• Position the light strips and use the zip ties included in the kit to securely attach the lights under your vehicle.
• Secure the black control box and mount it in a suitable location under your car, making sure both the lights strips and control box will not be in the way of any moving parts.
• Connect and route the wires from the front light strips to the control box, securing them with zip ties along the way.
• Run the wire connectors from the front centre undercarriage through the engine bay, to attach the positive and negative wires from the lights to the engine battery.
• Turn on the ignition and test the lights.
